Dinghy Insurance
Noble Marine dinghy insurance covers:
- Loss or Damage- Caused by accidental external means including theft, fire, vandalism and malicious damage.
- Full Racing Risk Cover- Without deduction for damage to spars and sails other than the policy excess.
- New for Old Cover- For Spars and Sails if damaged beyond repair irrespective of age.
- Comprehensive All Year Round Cover, including transit risks, while in the specified cruising range.
- Protection of a Reputable Company- Cover is underwritten by Norwich Union or Certain Underwriters at Lloyds.
- £3,000,000 Third Party Cover- Excluding third party risks whilst being towed by a motor vehicle (this is normally covered by your motor insurance policy).
- Reliable Quick Claims Service.
- Insurance Premium Tax (IPT)- All premiums quoted are inclusive of IPT.
Laser Insurance
The U.K. Laser Class Association have arranged special Laser insurance through Noble Marine Ltd. The cover has been specially designed for the Laser Standard, Radial and 4.7 classes, and this exclusive cover is not available on any other dinghy policy.
- Full Racing Risk Cover - Without deduction for damage to spars and sails other than the policy excess.
- New for Old Cover- Claim settlements will be based on the manufacturers price list at the time of loss. You can never be under insured.
- Comprehensive All Year Round Cover, including transit risks, while in the specified cruising range.
- Protection of a Reputable Company- The Laser policy is underwritten by Norwich Union Insurance Ltd.
- £3,000,000 Third Party Cover - Excluding third party risks whilst being towed by a motor vehicle (this is normally covered by your motor insurance policy).
- Reliable Quick Claims Service.
- Low Excess of £50.00- To keep costs down, the first £50.00 of each claim must be borne by the insured.
- Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) - All premiums quoted are inclusive of IPT at the current rate of 5%.
- Personal Effects- The policy can be extended to include personal effects (wet suits, life jackets etc.) Subject to a limit of £50 (less the policy excess) in respect of any watch, mobile phone, spectacles / sunglasses, or the like.
Speedboat Insurance
Noble Marine provide an excellent policy for Speedboats but are NOT able to provide Speedboat Insurance for
- Boats based in Southern Ireland
- Racing risks
- Vessels based outside Europe
- Charter/commercial risks
- Skippered Charter
- Towing toys, inflatables, wakeboards and the like
- Personal Watercraft
Yacht Insurance
Noble Marine provide an excellent policy for Yachts but please note that they are only able to provide Yacht Insurance for a yacht owned by UK Residents or a yacht that is UK registered. Unfortunately there are also a small number of excluded risks and the list below details some of the more common exclusions:
They are NOT able to provide Yacht Insurance for
- A yacht based in Southern Ireland
- Yachts based outside Europe
- Any yacht aged over 20 years old, unless an up to date, full survey and valuation report, is available.
- Ferro Cement yachts.
- Yachts used as permanent living accommodation.
- Bareboat Charter
- Personal Watercraft
- Commercial risks
