BIRMINGHAM BOAT SHOW 2009 - INCREDIBLE GROWTH CONTINUES

With Boat and Marine growth of over 70% in the last three years alone, the Birmingham Boat Show has never been in higher demand. The show opens its doors from the 17 th to 22nd February 2009 and, even with more floor space covered than ever before, every stand has already been filled some three months in advance of the show. Now in its 47th year, the Birmingham Boat Show, part of the UK 's largest show for the outdoor leisure world - the National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor Show - has a dedicated boating hall offering the largest choice of everything Boat and Marine north of London . Leading boating brands continue to support the Show in large numbers and the list of key household names has grown significantly once again.

BIRMINGHAM BOAT SHOW 2008

The most comprehensive boating display ever seen at the NEC will include exclusive launches and fantastic displays from the likes of Sunseeker, Princess, Fairline, Cranchi, Sealine, Jeanneau, Maxum, Regal, Cruisers Yachts, Cobalt, Broom, Haines, Trader, Bayliner, Rinker, Bavaria, Hanse, Macgregor Yachts, Warrior, Suzuki, Yamaha, Avon, Bombard, Viking and many, many more.

The Birmingham Boat Show is a must-see for everything from power boats and luxury offshore cruisers right through to dinghies, ribs, jet bikes, sports boats, inflatables, narrowboats, river cruisers, sail boats, yachts, canoes, kayaks and a wealth of accessories. There will also be expert advice, discounts and deals to be had on a huge selection of merchandise and accessories.

  • Princess Motor Yacht Sales will be exhibiting both of their 42 feet motor yachts:  the V42 open sports and the Princess 42 flybridge version

  • Larson will be bringing with them exciting, yet to be confirmed, new model launches plus the 234 Escape will be making it's NEC debut.
  • Fletcher are keeping their new model under wraps until the doors open on 19 th February so watch this space!

National Boat Caravan and Outdoor Show 2008

Several brands will also be making their own debut at the NEC this year, so make sure you pay a visit to the following stands:

  • Cobalt & Hanse are also making their NEC debut, exhibiting their 'sailor friendly' range. The Hanse 350 sailing yacht will be one of many yachts on display on the marina at the show
  • Trader 's luxury trader 42 power/offshore boat will be one model not to be missed
  • Viking Sea Master are returning to the NEC after 5 years to exhibit their Viking 20
  •  Suzuki GB have never exhibited at NEC before but are sure to wow visitors with several new launches and brands never before seen. 

The show promises something for everyone from the most avid boating enthusiast through to families who are simply looking for a fun, exciting and good value day out. What's more, visitors can try their hand at canoeing on an indoor pool, have a go at climbing on our mobile rock, have some archery lessons from experts on hand at our archery tournament feature or pay a visit to the Inland Waterways Village to see the show's largest ever display of narrowboats and inland craft from many of the big-name boat builders including Sea Otter, Midland Canal Centre, The New Boat Co., Liverpool Boats, Severn Valley Boats and Amber Boats. The Royal Yachting Association (RYA) will also be on hand to offer free advice and information on how to get started on the water.
